Matte Litho - A dull smudge-proof finish which provides for high print quality and makes it good for typing or handwriting on. Requires more drying time than an uncoated stock. Used on indoor labels, point of purchase labels, package and carton labels.

Semi / High-Gloss - Smooth glossy finish provides top-quality print results for retail products and decorative labels. Not generally recommended for typing or writing on.

Tyvek - A highly-durable, chemical, tear and moisture resistant material. Excellent print quality provides for outstanding barcode reading. Used for warning, UL, apparel, drum and appliance labels.

Thermal Transfer - Designed specifically for use with thermal transfer printers. Used on applications that require small, high quality or high density bar codes.

Direct Thermal - Thermal sensitivity coated for use in direct thermal printing. Available with various top coatings to provide different levels of environmental resistance.

Kimdura - Synthetic top-coated provides excellent printability and environmental resistance. Suitable for thermal printing.

Flourescent - Highly visible, uncoated paper used to draw attention. Used primarily in warning, stock and color coding applications .

Polypropylene - Highly durable and resistant to most acids and alkalies. Used for glass labeling and other rigid containers. One of the most common film substrates used.
